> Shivaay Gravure System is a precision gravure cylinder manufacturer based in India. We engrave and plate the gravure cylinders that printing companies and brand owners rely on for flexible packaging and label production - we do not operate printing presses ourselves.

## What we do

Shivaay Gravure System manufactures precision-engraved, copper- and chrome-plated gravure cylinders through an eight-stage process:

1. **Precision base shell** - steel shell held to sub-10-micron dimensional tolerance, dynamically balanced for vibration-free rotation at press speed.
2. **Copper plating** - electroplated copper layer of controlled thickness, the engravable surface.
3. **Copper polish** - polished to a mirror finish, eliminating micro-porosity for uniform engraving depth.
4. **Engraving** - cell-by-cell engraving with cell geometry and screen angle matched to the customer's substrate and ink system.
5. **Chrome plating** - hardened chrome layer over the engraved copper, protecting cell walls and extending run life across millions of impressions.
6. **Proofing** - production-condition proof checked against the approved sample for color, register, and cell reproduction.
7. **Quality inspection** - dimensional and surface inspection under magnification, confirming cell depth, chrome hardness, and shell balance.
8. **Dispatch** - packed and dispatched with full traceability.
